Nail-aween Challenge Day 4: Mummy Nails

Day 4 of the Nail-aween Challenge is a bit later than planned, but I'm determined to catch up to my self imposed schedule. That is one thing that I love about this particular challenge, there is no time line other than to finish all ten manicures before the 31st. I am hoping that I can handle that. Now back to the challenge mani for today which is Mummy Nails. I thought it would be a fun one to stamp and embellish. It didn't turn out looking particularly like mummies to me and my boyfriend has a completely different theory on what they resemble, but I think they are pretty cute anyway...

The base for this manicure is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls sponged with OPI Berlin There Done That. It created a bit of a mottled and dirty look to the mummy wrap. Stamping was done using OPI Germanicure by OPI and Bundle Monster plate BM-209. Black rhinestones completed the look by giving my mummies eyes...

My boyfriend thinks they look like Frosted Mini Wheat cereal and I think he might be on to something here... just missing eyebrows and smile ;)

I hope you enjoyed this fun manicure! I'd love to know what you think of it :)

P.S. Don't forget to take a look at all the other lovelies participating in the challenge...

Whether they're mummies or frosted mini wheats, they're adorable! I love the little rhinestone eyes!

Mummy shreddie wheats ;) does that make them yummy mummies ;) love it!
And great minds do think alike :) I too used this stamp to create mummy nails last Halloween. I'm no good at marbling or drag-polish so this was my easy-fix. I love em ;)
