OPI Pink of Hearts Duo 2014

Once again this year OPI brings us a limited edition Pink of Hearts duo to raise awareness for breast cancer. This duo is always released in October to coincide with the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I do look forward to it every year. Just as the previous few years, the duo includes a creamy pink and a glitter shade...

Mod About You
A powder pink cream. This goes on a bit thick and makes me think of a white polish which has been tinted pink. At two coats it provides good streak free coverage and a really beautiful pink shade. Pink polish always tends to make my hands look darker than they really are and I love it for that. Instant tan! Swatches are with no top coat...

The Power of Pink
A milky pink jelly base with fuchsia and white glitter. I wasn't super excited by this one in the bottle, but I just adore it on the nails. The formula is perfect, not thick or goopy and plenty of glitter in each brush stroke. I layered three thin coats for my manicure. I really love that it isn't over-done and crammed with glitter. It can be worn on it's own as I have here, or can be layered over a pink base such as Mod About You. Swatches are with a top coat...
