Flowers In Full Bloom...

I really enjoyed the 365 Days of Color In Full Bloom collection that I posted swatches of yesterday. I thought it would be fun create a manicure which somehow incorporated all of them. Since the collection is all about floral shades for spring, it only seemed fitting to paint some happy flowers on my nails...

For the manicure, I used a base of the honey nude shade named Orange Blossoms. I roughly painted the tips using the pastel green named Running Through Meadows. Using green acrylic paint in two darker green shades, I painted the floral stems and grass...

Then, using white acrylic paint and a dotting tool, I added the flowers. Again using a dotting tool, I colored the flowers with Sweet Pea and Fields of Lavender. The color of the flowers was much more obvious in reality than how it turned out in photos. Finally, I added a bit of glitter from Blooming Bouquets to the flower centers...

I hope you enjoyed this manicure! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!

Thanks for looking!

  1. Precious!!! So adorable! I love the balance between "real" and "cartoon" these have. You did a great job incorporating both the polish collection and acrylics. :)

  3. A really cute mani! I just purchased this collection today and am looking forward to receiving it. I think they are just a little different from the usual spring colors.
