InDecisive Bloodstone with Messy Mansion Stamping...

I finally got a day off yesterday and had time to play around with polish. One of the lovelies I got to play with was Bloodstone by InDecisive Nail Lacquer. I must confess my ignorance as I initially thought a bloodstone is something made up from a fantasy book or movie. You know, the ones that are really popular and loved by seemingly everyone besides me. I turned to trusty Google to set me straight and realized it is an actual mineral and one of the birthstones for March. Oy! Hanging my head in complete shame here! Since I had the fantasy theme in my head though, I did proceed with stamping the mythical phoenix...

The base of this manicure is the gorgeous InDecisive Nail Lacquer Bloodstone. Full swatches of this beauty are a bit further in the post. I stamped the fire and the phoenix from Messy Mansion plate MM27 using Maybelline Bold Gold (70). I just adore this Fire & Ice stamping plate and it seems to go well with InDecisive lacquers ;)

I realy love how the red and gold glitter in this polish look like sparks or embers above the flames...

InDecisive Bloodstone
A forest green jelly with a gold shimmer and red, black and gold glitter. It has a very nice, easy to work with formula. I used three coats for this manicure, although you can easily get away with two coats. This is absolutely gorgeous! Swatches are with a top coat...

I just had to add this photo of a bloodstone from Wikipedia. I think Aleksandra absolutely nailed this inspiration in her gorgeous polish!
