OPI Gwen Stefani Diamonds...

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to show you some nail art that I created while swatching the OPI Gwen Stefani collection. I wanted to play around with some of the studs which are a part of that collection and these matte square ones were my first pick...

For the manicure, I started out with a base of OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby. When it was dry, I applied striping tape and painted the whole thing using OPI I Sing in Color. While the polish was still wet, I removed the striping tape to reveal the design. Since the studs that I chose to use are matte, I thought it would be fun to have the whole manicure matted and I used Nicole by OPI Matte Top Coat to achieve that. I attached the nail studs using the nail glue included with them...

I just love the bold look of this manicure. Aside from a bit of color bleeding on my index finger, which I didn't have time to redo, this turned out exactly as I had imagined it...

Let me know what you think of this manicure!

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

    1. Thank you so much! That means a lot to me! I agree that it does look somewhat different when you are looking at it from a distance. The studs just blended so well with the design :)

  4. Very nice, unusual mani. I like the touch of matte especially on this one. I have L.A.M.B. and am loving it. I love how it looks with the matte black - I will have to get out my tape and give it a whirl!

    1. You should definitely try a striped tape mani again! It is a lot of fun and L.A.M.B. is one of my favorites <3

  5. p.s. I really hope that you, and all nail bloggers, know that when I, and I am sure all your fans, say how pretty your mani is that we are not just talking about the design and polish. That we also mean how nice your nails and cuticles are, what a great job you did in the cleanup (if needed) and the care you take of your digits!

    1. I try hard to present good photos and make sure my nails are in good shape. I know that I don't like to see messy cuticles when I read someone's blog and I'm sure my reader's don't as well. Thank you for noticing and for all your kind words! :)
