For the manicure I used three Barielle shades. I first sponged the gradient of Alli's Lace Cover Up, Eli's Magic and Big Apple Red from base to tips. After applying striping tape, I sponged the gradient in reverse. That is really all there is to it...
The most difficult part was cleaning up the mess from all the sponging. It took me longer to clean up than to create the manicure itself. Next time I will plan ahead and tape off the nail before sponging...
Even though my boyfriend and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, I do get a kick out of creating manicures for the occasion... matter of fact same goes for Christmas and so many other holidays...
Have you ever created a manicure for a holiday you don't celebrate?
Thanks for looking and commenting!
