Shimmer Fanny and Elsa

I hope you are ready for two more Shimmer beauties because that is what I have for you today. Without skipping a beat, Cindy creates some of the most amazing glitter bombs and I truly have not met a single one yet that I didn't like. Today I would like to introduce you to Fanny and Elsa...

Shimmer Fanny (over Nicole by OPI Personally Speaking...)
A mix of pink, lavender, red, gold and iridescent glitter in a lightly fuchsia tinted base. The tint was just enough to darken my rose pink base and add a lovely depth to the manicure. Application as usual is good and the glitter spreads evenly. I used two coats plus a top coat over the base...

Pretty little lavender glitters...

Shimmer Elsa (over Nicole by OPI Marooned in Paradise)
A mix of glitter in red, gold, light blue plus a bit of other colors in a clear base. Some of it might be color shifting or iridescent, but maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. Either way, it looks beautiful. I layered it over a dark burgundy base for a look that reminds me of confetti. Formula is good with plenty of glitter in each layer. This would look great over just about anything. Swatches are just one generous coat plus top coat over the base color...

It is a party on my nails...

You can purchase any of these by emailing Cindy directly at or through ShimmerPolish on Etsy. Cindy even makes custom polishes so don't hesitate to ask her!

Also, take a look at her blog and Facebook page where she hosts giveaways of her creations. You didn't hear it from me, but she is about 120 likes on Facebook away from hosting another give away, so go join in the fun...

And don't forget to let me know what you think of these!

Thanks for looking!

  1. Hahaha it was so weird to see my name on a nail polish! (I'm Elsa XD)
    Anyway, both look very pretty :)

  2. @Elsa, it was meant to be! :)

    @TikiBarbie, thank you! :)
