This manicure started out with a base of OPI Haven’t the Foggiest, a gorgeous metallic gunmetal gray. Again, I promise to have swatches of this collection to show you soon! Using silver and black studs from the Born Pretty Store, I created the rows of studs...
The studs from The Born Pretty Store are sold in small bags, but I like to transfer them to these easy to store containers. There is a lots of studs in each package....
What do you think of this manicure? Something a little edgier? :)
P.S. This post is pre-scheduled while I'm on vacation. I may not be able to respond to comments until I return, but I greatly appreciate them and will respond as soon as I return!
Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

ReplyDeleteWow, this is out of control! I can't even....

ReplyDeleteOooh, loving the black studs!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I love these studs! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone!! I'm so glad you like the look of this and the studs!
ReplyDelete@ashley_sb06, the black ones are these 1.5mm ones and the silver ones are 2mm.
I love this look!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you! I suspected they were different sizes but i just wanted to be sure! i have those exact studs in reverse sizes so i might just give this a go and see how it turns out!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help!
ashley_sb06, you are very welcome! I hope you do give this a try :)
ReplyDeleteI am totally into studs right now-but am wondering the best way to make them stick and not fall off. Right now I'm just using topcoat, but I've also been told to try nail glue-I bought some but haven';t tried yet. Besides this being gorgeous-I was wondering what you did to get them to stick!
ReplyDelete@Fingers, I used just a top coat to seal these in because I didn't intend to keep it on for more than a few hours. Although without picking I think they would last much longer. When I want the rhinestones or studs to last for a while or I want to skip the topcoat (like with swarovski crystals), I use nail glue or super glue to attach them. Just be careful not to get it on your skin.
ReplyDeleteLOVE! Where did you purchase the cute containers from? I saw some on the Born Pretty site but the lids were black...
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
Thank you so much! I got these containers a long time ago so I don't remember exactly where. They are lip balm jars and you can find them on ebay or sites such as this :)
