Zoya Magical Pixie Collection Swatches and Review

Hi there! Today I would like to share with you my swatches of the Zoya Magical Pixie collection. Similarly to previous PixieDust shades, these are matte textured beauties, however, unlike the PixieDust shades before them, they feature larger holographic glitter for even more magical sparkle. If you are like me and a fan of the textured trend, then these are an absolute treat...

I used two coats of each of these Magical PixieDust shades for complete coverage. The formula is similar to a dense glitter. They apply in fairly thick and chunky layers, but I found it them very workable. I gave each an hour to dry for swatches, however, they are dry to the touch and 'wearable' much sooner than that. These are rougher, more textured than other PixieDust shades due to the larger hex glitter.

The flashes of holographic and iridescent glitter is something that I struggled to capture in photos and I still don't feel that I was entirely successful in my attempts. They sparkle and mesmerize with every turn. There is just so much glittery goodness here...

  2. I just can't decide how I feel about these. They are beautiful to look at, but I felt like the hexes just stood out so much from my nail that I had to go back and press them in while the polish was drying. I think I might try them in a thin layer as an accent instead of an all over mani.
