Barielle Velvets Collection Swatches and Review!

Hi! Today I have prepared for you swatches of the Barielle Velvets collection. The six Velvet shades make up the soft, romantic half of the Spring collection...

A Little Exotic
A dusty muted brick red cream. It has a nice creamy formula that is easy to apply and provides full coverage at two coats. Swatches with no top coat...

Uptown Girl
A pale nude cream. Application is nice and easy with this one, however it is a bit more sheer than the other creams in this collection. I used three coats to get full, even coverage. No top coat...

A dusty pink with a hint of a green shimmer. The shimmer is quite unexpected and I love it. Great smooth formula which provides full, even coverage at two coats. No top coat in these swatches...

Cream 'n Sugar
A sheer peachy jelly. This is the only jelly in the collection and it is very sheer. At one coat it looked as though I was only wearing a clear coat. It would be ideal for a french tip mani or for a nice natural look. It would also work perfectly for jelly glitter sandwiches! In the swatches below, I used three coats with no top coat...

  1. Beautiful swatches! Strangely, what caught my attention was the sheer peach? jelly! I am going through a periodic stage where I want sheers, but usually I like sheers like OPI's Ballet Collection. This looks totally different. I was thinking of layering with the novelty glitter 'topcoats'.

I definitely have stages when I crave simple colors as this :)
