Head Over Heels Down the Aisle...

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to show you a bit of an experiment. I created this while swatching the Dazzle Dry Do You Love Me? collection. Two of the polishes in the collection have similar golden flecks and I felt compelled to somehow combine them. Rather than sponging a smooth gradient, I wanted to try dry brushing a rough one...

For this manicure, I started out with a base of the white Dazzle Dry Down the Aisle. Using an almost completely wiped off brush with Head Over Heels, I gently dragged it from the cuticles toward the tips to create this look. This technique is commonly used to create glitter gradients, but I wanted to try it out with this metallic fleck lacquer...

It looks a bit messy in the photos, but I really loved it in reality. The gold of Head Over Heels really complimented the golden flecks in Down the Aisle. It makes me think of yummy glazed cinnamon rolls...

I would love know what you think of this manicure! Let me know in the comments below :)

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
