When Polished by KPT Rouge-Lette In Love was released in the Fall of 2014, I thought it would make the perfect base for some brick stamping. The Polished by KPT Basic Series Collection launched on Saturday and try as I might I could not find the time to post before the release and give these beauties justice they deserve. The collection features five creamy pastel thermals which are perfect for Spring. Don't let the collection name fool you, there is nothing basic about these thermals. Hi Lovelies! It snowed in Seattle over the weekend and has actually been cold enough for bits to stick around. Nothing dramatic by any means and probably not even worth a mention given what has been happening in other parts of the country (I'm looking at you Buffalo with your 8 feet of snow! Just insane!), but in any case our little snow fall makes me feel justified to dive right into Winter manicures. I actually created and wore this snowflake manicure in September, but held off on posting to avoid frightening you all. It is not that I was ready for Winter a few months back, it is just that I have a weakness for snowflakes. I would wear them in July if no one would question my sanity...

Thermal Stripes

Hi Lovelies! Sometimes I get wonky or should I say wacky ideas for nail art that I must then try out or they give me no rest. This is one of those! While playing with the Polished by KPT Paris & Me collection a while back, I was fascinated by two thermals which are both a gorgeous charcoal gray in their warm state, but completely different when cold. The idea was to combine them into one manicure so that when the nails are warm it appears to be a solid color and then magically reveals a pattern as it gets cold. The result is subtle, but see what you think...

Arc de Triomphe!

Hi Lades and Gentlemen?! At times or fairly often for me all it takes is the polish name to get my imagination going in that direction. I guess one could say I'm rather easily influenced, but I like to think that I'm easily inspired. This manicure is one of those cases and although parts of it didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped, I still love the idea. I will try to give it another shot some day, but for now I'll show you this attempt...

Polished by KPT & Serum N°5 Summer Fling Collaboration Shades Review...

While I was out gallivanting around Japan and Taiwan, the ladies of Polished by KPT and Serum N°5 were hard at work collaborating on a fun summer duo. I was so excited to come home to these two beauties waiting for me that they became my first two manicures after a month of nakie nails. These lacquers are part of a Summer Fling collaboration box which also includes a cuticle oil and some nail art accessories.
