For today, I would like to share with you another gem out of the unposted stash of manicures. I created it while playing around with the OPI Gwen Stefani collection. It was inspired by a pair of red shoes that kept popping up in the side ads of my Facebook page. I had seen the ad for days and finally it clicked (no pun intended) that I wanted to do something similar on my nails...
Here is the image of the shoes that kept stalking me for days. You would think that clicking on the ad would take you directly to a site selling these shoes, but apparently that is not how ads work these days. It took some digging to actually find this image since the shoes are no longer available for sale. Why I kept seeing them advertised is beyond me, but I'm glad they were...
To create this manicure, I used two shades from the OPI Gwen Stefani collection, 4 in the Morning and Over & Over A-Gwen. I started out with the shimmery black in my nails and applied strips of striping tape in a random arrangement over it. Then I applied the red crelly and quickly removed the tape. I think the toughest part about this manicure is trying to keep track of the order that the tape needs to be removed in...
