Lacy Damask...

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you a lovely damask manicure that I created last weekend. I've got a bit of a weak spot for the damask pattern itself and this delicate lacy one seemed to be a perfect fit for a nude base...

The manicure started out with a base of Zoya Taylor from the Naturel collection. I stamped the damask pattern from Pueen plate Pueen22 with Wet 'n Wild Black Creme. The full size nail patterns on this Pueen set have a built in curve to them and I decided to accentuate the curve by adding a black half-moon with the black polish. For me it really completed the look...

For my accent nail, I used black rhinestones that I purchased on Ebay. I saw a few people on Instagram creating fun arrangements with different shaped studs and I wanted to try it out for myself. I played around with the rhinestones until I found an arrangement that I liked and I think it works well with the damask pattern...

The only thing I don't like is the smudging which is courtesy of the topcoat. There is nothing worse than having a manicure you love and seeing it smeared by the top coat! My ring finger just really bums me...

I'd love to know what you think of this manicure! Let me know in the comments below :)

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

    1. Thank you! I have put that top coat aside to never be used with stamping! Having it smear is so frustrating, but I'm glad this time it was not too noticeable since I love how the manicure turned out :)

  10. Stunning! The nude/black combo, your added black curves & stone pattern - lovely! I'm sure the smudges weren't as noticeable at arm's length - hope you still enjoyed these, they are quite gorgeous.
