It is time for another challenge in the group
Adventures in Stamping. The challenge this week is to create a manicure featuring two different patterns. My mind instantly went to this barbed wire and roses combo on the new Bundle Monster plates. I have been wanting to try it since first seeing the plates and finally got a great excuse to try...
For the base of the manicure I started out with three coats of OPI
My Boyfriend Scales Walls. It is a perfect white with just the slightest touch a gray. Using the Bundle Monster plate BM-323, I stamped the barbed wire with OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! and the roses with OPI Danke-shiny Red. Both are from the new fall OPI Germany collection and I will have full swatches of them for you soon...
I originally intended to stamp the roses on all the nails, but I really liked the barbed wire by itself as well so I went with just an accent nail. Really like how this turned out...

What other color combo would you dream up for barbed wire and roses?

That looks so pretty!
As for other colours... I think creating a sepia effect would look good as well. Going from a beige base colour to a medium brown for the roses to a darker brown for the wire. :)

I did this same manicure a few weeks ago but I used lots of different colors from the sally hansen insta-dri line
