Polished by KPT Cosmic XOdus Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Lovelies! I've been busy swatching and today I'm excited to show you this gorgeous Winter collection named Cosmic XOdus from Polished by KPT which will be released tomorrow. The collection includes a variety of different finishes including glitter, duochrome and of course thermal. Since this post is looong, I'll make my intro short and get right to the swatches and review. I hope you'll enjoy!

THE GLITTERS

Light-years
A clear base loaded with micro silver holographic glitters and shimmer. It also has some tiny bar glitter in there which I thought was cute and adds to the cosmic effect. It is sheer and at one or two coats can be used as a beautiful topper. For my swatches I built up 4 coats over bare nails. In reality it is so sparkly that the nail line is not noticeable. The formula is great, it doesn't get thick or goopy and I was able to easily brush on the layers. Swatches are with a top coat..

Vacay 2 Venus
A nude pink and holo glitter mix in a clear base. This has a gorgeous scattered holo sparkle. It is one of my favorites from the collection. At one coat it can be used as a topper, but it builds up nicely to great coverage at three coats. I did add a thin fourth coat and a top coat for the swatches. The formula is great and easy to apply...

Bleeding Stars
A coopery pink and holo glitter mix in a clear base. This is very similar to Vacay 2 Venus in formula and application. Very easy to work with. It can also be used as a topper at one coat and provides great coverage at three coats. Once again I added a thin fourth coat and top coat for the swatches since my lightbox tends to blind them.

Wave Function
A berry tinted jelly base loaded with red, violet and holographic glitter. This beauty is easy to work with and apply. It provides full coverage at three coats and looks so squishy and glossy. Nalani
A navy blue jelly loaded with blue, purple, green and holographic glitter. The amount of sparkle is crazy! It builds up to full coverage at three coats. The formula is slightly thicker than the rest of the glitters, but it is still very easy to manage. Swatches are with a top coat...

THE DUOCHROMES

Underneath the Milky Way
A blackened base with metallic/duochrome purple shimmer and scattered holographic glitter. This is a galaxy at your finger tips for sure. Easy application with two coats for full coverage as seen in my swatches. Topped off with a top coat here...

Wreath for the Stars
A blackened base loaded with emerald green metallic/duochrome shimmer flakes and scattered holographic glitter. This is perfect for the holidays and makes me think of evergreens. Formula is very nice, it is opaque in two coats, but I added a third one to even out the coverage. Swatches are with a top coat...

THE THERMALS

Mars Escapade
A milky sheer when warm to purple when cold thermal base loaded with cooper and pink shimmer plus scattered blue and green shimmer. It is a complex shade and I may have taken one too many photos of it, but I couldn't stop because it wouldn't stop changing. The formula is very good, not too thick. I provides great coverage at three coats. Swatches are with a top coat.

Cold state is a beautiful purple which makes me glad I tend to have cold hands...

Majority of the time while wearing this beauty, the color for me rested somewhere between this (plus the next photo) lighter purple transition state and the warm state...

Lambda Max 510
A tri-thermal that transitions from a bright green when cold to a pale celery green when warm, filled with holographic and gold shimmer. It makes me wish summer would return quicker! Once again, this has a great formula that is easy to apply. It builds up to good coverage at three coats, which is what I have here. Swatches are with a top coat (which left slight visible brush strokes so please ignore them as the polish doesn't leave strokes)...

If you look closely, you can see the subtle change of all three colors, from bright green at the tips, to and olive green band in the middle and the pale celery shade when warm...

A Dream within a Dream
A lilac when warm to magenta when cold thermal filled with a gorgeous violet shimmer. This was an unexpected favorite for me. I love the bold color change and that shimmer is stunning! Easy formula and good coverage (for the cold state) at three coats. The warm state as you can see was still a bit sheer. Swatches are with a top coat...
