To create the manicure I used the polish brush to place a drop of polish on the nail and gently drag/dab the polish into random shapes. As I mentioned yesterday the formula on these polishes is a bit chunky due to all the glitter and it is easy to control where the polish goes...
I used two coats of each, Zoya Cosmo, Vega and Lux to ensure full opacity...
I wish I was able to better capture the holographic and iridescent glitter in these beauties. Just peek at any of the bottles in the photos and you will see some of the gorgeous flashes of color that come out to play on the nails as well...
I don't usually topcoat my textured polish manicures simply because I don't have the patience needed to apply the multiple layers of topcoat, but this time before taking of this manicure, I decided to try it out. I used 3 or 4 layers of topcoat to get to a glossy, almost perfectly smooth finish. I didn't take many photos because I wasn't pleased with how thick it looked, but the few that I did end up liking really show off the gorgeous holo and iridescent sparkle of these Magical Pixies...
