Sunday Stamping: Plate Ending in Six

Well it is once again time for a Sunday Stamping challenge. They seem to sneak up on me faster and faster each week. This week the challenge is to use a plate with a number ending in six. I decided to try out my recently purchased Winstonia plates. As soon as I saw the beach themed images, I though of this manicure by Casey of No Nude Nails. I resisted the urge to look at it until I was finished with my manicure, just so they wouldn't be identical, but I had it in the back of my mind for sure! The beach scene was also the perfect opportunity to infuse a bit of Zoya PixieDust into my nail art...

I started out the manicure with a gradient of Zoya Blu and Jacqueline, both from the Lovely collection for this Spring. I love the way the two colors blended. Easily wearable as a stand alone manicure...

I stamped the palm tree and whale before adding the "sand" so that I could cover them with a top coat. For the next step I added Zoya Godiva to the tips and allowed it to dry completely before stamping the rest of the images. Contrary to how it may appear, Mr. Whale is not beached... he's just coming close to shore to say hello :)

The colors and plates used for stamping are...
Palm tree: Sinful Colors Envy and Essence Stamp Me! Black, Winstonia plate W106
Flip flops and beach ball: Barielle Surf's Up, Winstonia plate W106
Whale: Zoya Kelly and Essence Stamp Me! White, Winstonia plate W108
Crab: Barielle Big Apple Red, Winstonia plate W106

So far I'm really impressed with the Winstonia plates. The images are nicely engraved and stamp very well...

Another look at the gradient...

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
