Select Shades of Dance Legend Smoky Collection

Happy Friday everyone! I was recently given a wonderful opportunity to review some Dance Legend shades and I will be showing you my selections from a few of their different collections over the coming weeks. One of the collections that I'm head over heels in love with is the Smoky collection. Despite the fact that I would categorize these as Fall colors, I have been sporting them all week and still can't get enough of them...

These all have a similar formula and finish so I thought I would talk about it up front and not have to repeat myself. The lacquers themselves are unlike anything else I have in my collection. Although they look and behave as a cream, they have black specks throughout that on closer inspection give them a marble appearance and make them so unique. I am honestly fascinated with what these specks are, but I'm pretty certain it isn't any sort of glitter because as I mentioned in terms of look, application and removal they behave as a cream. Their formula starts out sheer and builds up to full coverage at three thin coats. Application was very nice. I expected these to dry to a satin finish (probably because the cap has a satin feel), but they did dry with a nice shine, so my swatches are with no top coat. Also the dry time on these was great even at three coats with no top coat...
