OPI Pink of Hearts 2012

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to help raise awareness OPI has released its six annual OPI Pink of Hearts duo. The set includes a sweet pink and a fun sparkly glitter to top it off. OPI will also donate $25,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada which I think is amazing. Walking the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk is something I hope to accomplish one day, but until then, let's just look at the pretty polishes...

I Think in Pink
A sheer pink jelly. The formula is very smooth with great application that I have come to expect from OPI. I use three coats for my manicure. The nail line is still visible, but only slightly...

  1. I LOVE that glitter. I don't know if I would ever wear the pink jelly (even though it's really pretty) but I may have to suck it up and buy the set so I can wear the glitter every day forever.

  4. Really like your photos of this one - the pink is looking a tish dusty and I like that you did not put a zillion coats of the glitter on - I would never wear 3 layers of glitter - I wanted to see this set just like this - pink with a one coat glitter top layer..thanks so much. I am not a huge glitter fan but I am leaning toward getting this one - liking the shades and I don't have a pink/purple one. I can see this glitter over some blues and purples as well as even some nudes and of course white - like to try it over Orly Au Champagne.

  5. @Whitney, the pink is really pretty, but if you are not into the color you could always gift it and keep the glitter for yourself ;)

    @Tina, thank you so much!

    @bug, thank you! I'm so glad that you like both of the polishes :)

    @Mimi, Agreed! How can you go wrong with pink and glitter? :)

    @beachgal, I don't typically like wearing multiple glitter coats especially if I layer them. It get to be too thick and doesn't dry well. Luckily this has great coverage and doesn't need too many coats. It would look lovely layered over other polishes as well :)
