Hi Lovelies!
I haven't been feeling well lately and have as a result given myself permission to royally slack off. As I further procrastinate cleaning the house, I finally took the time to sort through the remaining photos from my nail art experiments with the Glam Polish Gobblefunk Shimmers. I've shown you two other manicures featuring the five shades glamorous shades of the collection here and here. For this manicure, I combined them with some gold stamping...

Black & White
Hi Lovelies!
I have recently had the pleasure of trying out a few stamping plates from Lina Nail Art Supplies, the newest player to hit the stamping community by storm. More nail art with them, as you can expect, is coming up. I decided for my first manicure, it would be fitting to pair it up with a new to me brand of indie polish named O-My Jewels for a classic black & white manicure.

Glam Polish Dry Marble
Hi Lovelies!
It is always fun to play around with new techniques and I think I found one that I will likely be using again and again. I tried and failed water marbling with the gorgeous Glam Polish Gobblefunk Shimmers, likely due to my lack of skills in that particular area since other bloggers seem to have had success with them. Instead, I decided to skip the watery mess and try a drip marble. I have seen all sorts of gorgeous manicures created with this technique around the web and finally got to enjoy it for myself...

Glam Polish Gobblefunk Shimmery Water Spotting
Hi Lovelies!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I've got a manicure to share with you that features the soon to be releasing Glam Polish Gobblefunk Shimmers. The shimmers, while can be worn alone with just a couple of coats are also said to be great for nail art, so I couldn't wait to try them out as such. With a few ideas rolling around in my head, I decided to attempt the water spotting technique first. I use the technique so rarely since I always end up making a huge mess, but I think in this case it was well worth it...

Adding Accents
Hi Everyone!
After a couple of days of wear, I just couldn't resist adding a bit of stamping to my glitter gradient. Although rather impractical, since it was my day off from work, I decided to play around with adding some dimension in the form of tiny bullion beads and pearls. I may have gotten a bit carried away, but it was definitely worth it...

Dazzle Dry Glitter Gradient
Good Morning Lovelies!
I always have the best intentions of trying to post more often, but it never fails that life gets in the way and there is no time for nails or posting. But hey, at least I'm still managing for once weekly so that counts for something, right? Today I have a glitter gradient to share with you. The purple and gold color combo is one that I reach for again and again so when I saw these two Dazzle Dry colors hanging out together, I knew I had to pair them up on the nail. Yes, they were indeed hanging out together, waiting for their moment in the spotlight. Both are from the Summer 2015 collection, so they have been waiting for quite a while for me to finally show them off.

Nicole Diary Paisely Decals
Hi Lovelies,
I've got a super quick and easy manicure to share with you today. Our lives often get so busy and hectic that we can't always make time for fancy nail art, but still want something pretty on the nails. When such is the case for me, I tend to gravitate toward nail wraps and water decals. This time, I decided to try out another pattern of water decals from Nicole Diary.

Dance Legend Sonya with Nail Vinyl Accents
Hello Everyone!
I hope you all have had a lovely weekend! Mine was half dreary and rainy and half sunny and gorgeous. There was no in between as though the weather just couldn't make up it's mind. I took the opportunity during the gloomy times to sneak away into my polish cave and cheer myself up by playing around with nail art. I changed my manicure, not once, but gasp twice in those two days. Lately as you know that's unheard of for me. In any case, one of the manicures was this attempt at playing around with nail vinyls...

Lacy Pink
Hello Lovelies!
I recently purchased a handful of beautiful Major Dijit stamping plates through a group buy on Facebook. As with all group buys, they took a while to finally arrive and I couldn't wait to play with them as soon as they were in my greedy little paws. The Major Dijit plates are chock full of lacy patterns and settling on which one to try first was the most taxing portion of creating the manicure. I chose to pair it with a bright pink by Dazzle Dry from their Summer 2015 Over the Rainbow collection. It is just slightly ironic that with Summer almost over, I'm finally digging into the Summer shades. Maybe a bit of wishful thinking, hoping that the sunshine lasts just a bit longer?

Red Velvet Damask
Hello Lovelies!
I'm back with one more post featuring a lacquer from the Glam Polish Coven collection. It was largely inspired by this manicure created by Debbie of @ladyandthe_stamp on Instagram. She mattified one of the beautiful Coven shades and I instantly knew I wanted to try to do that as well. To be honest, I would not have even thought to mattify these shades since the flakies loose all their holo goodness, but the gorgeous velvet look and feel really made up for it.

Hi Lacquer Lovers!
Today I've got another manicure to show you with a few of the Glam Polish beauties from the Coven collection which will be released tomorrow! The three of them, red to plum to purple, made such a lovely gradient that I felt the need to combine them in a manicure. I finally even found the time to play around with making decals. Although making ten of them was more time consuming than I remembered, it was definitely worth it in the end...

Coming Up Roses
Hi Lovelies!
I've got a new manicure to share with you that I'm really excited about. To be honest I didn't expect to love it as much as I do, but I ended up not wanting to take this one off. It turned out so classy and elegant. The purple and gold combination always seems to do it for me. With the addition of the roses it once again reminds me of some beautiful fine china. Maybe that's a sign that I need to invest in some? On second though, I'll leave that to those who throw fancy dinner parties. I'll just enjoy it on my nails...

Zelena Slime
Hello Everyone!
Today I've got a drippy, slimy manicure to share with you. Inspired by the green Glam Polish shade which is part of the upcoming COVEN collection based on our favorite TV and film witches. Slime just seems to fit the witchy theme, does it not? I had a lot of fun with this manicure and it would be perfect for Halloween. Can't believe that it's almost around the corner again. It will sneak up on us before we know it...

Hi Lovelies!
Believe it or not, but my nails have been nakie since the last time I managed to write a post a couple of weeks ago. I know, I know, it is my never ending sob story which I'm sure you're all sick of by now. I just have no clue where the time goes as usual. To compensate for lack of anything new, I do have a manicure out of the archives to show you. This was a mani that I wore last Fall and absolutely loved. I hope you'll enjoy it as well...

Can't Help Falling in Love with Suspicious Minds
Hi Everyone!
I'm so excited to finally find some time to show you this manicure. It has been taunting me for far too long, just waiting for me to edit the photos. The manicure is another one of my "lets see what happens if I just keep adding to it" creations. I intended to add just a little gold stamping over a purple base and somehow it lead to this...

Silver Lining
Hi there fellow polish addicts!
Today I would like to show you a manicure that I created with another Glam Polish shade which will be releasing today. The pretty blue had me thinking nautical thoughts all week, but as soon as I got it on my nails the skies seemed to beckon. Certainly not a sky blue, but it still made such a pretty backdrop for a few clouds...

I feel as though it's been ages since I've done something "edgier" on my nails, but with Glam Polish lacquer names such as Devil in Disguise and Burning Love, I truly could not resist the temptation of having flames at my fingertips...

Glam Polish Burning Love with UberChic stamping
Hi Lovelies!
I'm sorry that I've been MIA for a while. Between work, family visiting from out of town and having to re-landscape our yard to appease my home owner's association, I have not had time to sit down and create a proper manicure. Luckily I got some gorgeous soon to be released Glam Polish beauties in the mail that forced me, in the best way possible, to finally make time.
I didn't have anything specific in mind when I started the manicure, but I've been wanting to play around with my new UberChic stamping plates and this swirly image drew my eye...

Happy 4th of July!
Wishing all of you who celebrate a safe and happy holiday!
I got home from work this morning with a strong urge to create a manicure for the occasion. Since I will once again be working tonight and missing all the fireworks and festivities, I needed something to put me in the holiday mood. On a whim, I decided to try my luck with a water marble and I'm so glad I did because I love how this it out...

Glam Polish Enchanted Forest plus Nicole Diary Decals
Hi Lovelies!
Time flies when you're having fun, although in my case is it just quietly and quickly slipping away while I work nights and I'm once again late with my post. Heh! I had hoped to show you this manicure a few days ago, in time for it's July 1st launch, but obviously that didn't go as planned. So here I am hoping that better late than never...

Dotted Transitions
Hi Lovelies!
I've had a bit of time off and yet it's been so hot that trying to do anything even remotely productive, including my nails, has been a challenge. I'm such a wimp when it comes to heat. It makes me way too mellow and lazy. I suppose it is a good thing I don't live somewhere that is hot most of the year or I would never get anything done. That being said, I'm pulling out a manicure from the archives to share with you. This one is created with shades from the Dazzle Dry Beach Ready collection from 2014!! Beats me why I didn't post it back then...

More Love, Less Hate!
Hi Everyone!
I have decided to join a bunch of sweet and talented ladies in the Facebook group Rainbow Pride Nails for Orlando and show my support for Orlando after the terrible tragedy of last weekend. It was such a devastating and senseless attack that affected far too many innocent people and I am left at a loss for words as I struggle to comprehend how anyone can commit such a horrific act of violence. My heart breaks for all the lives lost and for the loved ones left to carry on. It is heartwarming to see people from all over the world join in support and I'm glad to show my support today as well...

Hi Lovelies!
How is your week starting out? I didn't get as much done this weekend as I had hoped, but I can't say that I'm sorry for taking some time to just be lazy and relax. However since I was so lazy, today I would like to share with you another manicure out of the archives. I'm having so much fun going through old photos and remembering the manis. I created this manicure while playing around with the Glam Polish Hairspray collection in early 2015. It was one of my favorite collections and looking back at the manis I created with it makes me want to play all over again...

Dance Legend Binary Marina and Olga with Nicole Diary Water Decals
Hi Everyone!
What do you do when you want some quick nail art, but don't have time for stamping, vinyls, freehand, etc? I have recently developed a rather unhealthy obsession with water decals because of how easy and convenient they are. They are great for everyday wear, but they are also awesome for travel. Just toss a few designs into your luggage along with the nail polish and you can sport some nail art on your trip without the hassle of dragging a lot of supplies. All you need is water and a bit of acetone for cleanup.
Every once in a while, my mom request that when I come to visit, I give her a manicure. I used to lug all my stamping plates and polishes to give her a choice of design, but for the last few manis, we've switched to water decals and LOVE it! Not only is it so much quicker now, but it is easier for her to pick out designs and I know they'll turn out great. That being said, when a new company, Nicole Diary, offered me a few of their water decals to try out, I gladly agreed. I'm going to show you two of them today...

Subtle Stamping
Hi Everyone!
It has been a crazy week for me and although it is the weekend and time to relax for a lot of people, it is my weekend to work because I guess 'there ain't no rest for the wicked'. Ha! To make up for lack of time to paint my nails, I thought I'd show you another mani out of the archive. I've only got a few more to show you and then I will be all caught up. Gasp!
This mani is one that I wore last year for Hanukkah. The stamping turned out more subtle than I had anticipated and I remember being indecisive about whether I liked it or not. I'm still a bit torn, but definitely leaning toward liking it. Is there such a thing as too subtle?

Stamped Roses
Hi Lovelies!
Have you ever sat down to create a manicure having one thing in mind and ended up creating something entirely different? Such is the case of this rosy manicure. When Polished by KPT Rouge-Lette In Love was released in the Fall of 2014, I thought it would make the perfect base for some brick stamping. That manicure didn't turn out how I envisioned and hence it never made a debut on the blog. Last week, however, I got the urge to recreate that manicure, although obviously with some adjustments. As you can see, at the last minute I had a change of heart and bricks turned into roses...

Hi Everyone!
Today I've got another manicure out of the archives to share with you. It feels so great to finally make time to go through them. This manicure features a PolisHaus lacquer gifted to me by a fellow polish loving friend. I have just a handful of other lacquers by PolisHaus and I adore them all. It saddens me that they are no longer being made, but I suppose that means I will just have to savor the ones I do have...

Colour Me Orange
Hi Everyone!
A few weeks ago I purchased some Colour Alike polishes for stamping. Out of the 13 polishes that I got, I ended up buying just one metallic beauty whose swatches caught my eye. Let me tell you, I'm now kicking myself for not getting the rest of their metallic stamping polishes because this beauty stamps like a dream! I am certain I will purchase them sometime soon, but for now I will have to pacify myself with this pretty named B. a Scary Pumpkin...

I am certain I will purchase them sometime soon, but for now I will have to pacify myself with this pretty named B. a Scary Pumpkin...

Timeless Pairing.
Hi Lovelies!
I have had a rough night at work and I can think of nothing better to take my mind off of it than to sit down and write an early morning post. The manicure I'm showing today is another one from the archives that has been patiently waiting for it's moment in the spotlight. Created with two gorgeous shades from the Glam Polish Hairspray collection which was released back in January of 2015. I absolutely adored that collection. Each lacquer more beautiful than the next, but these two in particular begged to be paired up in a manicure...

Feathers!
Hello Everyone!
Today I have a feathery manicure to share with you. On a recent visit to a local drugstore, a little L.A. Colors beauty caught my eye and I was really itching to try it out. What can I say, I'm a sucker for flakie shimmer and not ashamed to admit it. It just calls to me. I paired it with some simple stamping for this look...

Tulips!
Hello Lovelies!
Today is a mani right out of the unposted archives. I have been digging and sorting and there is quite a bit to share with you, but eventually, as time permits I'll get it all posted. Hopefully I'm not making anyone dizzy with my seemingly constant changing of nail length and shape. I assure you it is all just a time warp illusion ;)
I created this manicure about a year ago while playing around with the a few Glam Polish beauties and B.Loves Plates stamping plates...

Shimmer Astrid
Hi Everyone!
Today I would like to show you a beautiful glitter named Shimmer Astrid that I chose to pair up with the Dazzle Dry gradient that I posted yesterday. This was a really sweet combination and I enjoyed it for quite a few days, getting lots of comments at work, so I hope you enjoy it as well...

Dance Legend Gel-Effect Gradient
Hi Lovelies!
My work week is finally over and that means I have time to show you a couple of beautiful Dance Legend shades from the Gel-Effect 2 collection. I combined them into a simple gradient which I wore topped with a glitter (that I'll hopefully show you tomorrow) for a few days. I really enjoyed this color combo. My boyfriend asked me if I got my nails dirty in something inky, which I can sort of see now looking at the photos. It still makes me chuckle...

Whats Up Nails Vinyls and Dazzle Dry Pastels
Hi Everyone!!
I am slowly continuing to make my way through folders of unposted nail art. It is kind of fun to go back and remember those manicures. It has also been inspiring me to keep playing around and making more nail art. I debated splitting this post into a few different ones, but eventually decided it would be better as one. All three of the manicures that I will show today use nail vinyls from Whats Up Nails and the pastel shades from Dazzle Dry Sweethearts collection whose swatches I posted a couple of days ago.
Chevrons!
First up is a manicure created using chevron nail vinyls...

Dazzle Dry Sweethearts
Hi Everyone!
Today I have swatches to share with you which are long, long, looong overdue. This beautiful pastel Dazzle Dry Sweethearts collection released for Spring 2015. I managed to get it swatched before my unexpected haitus, but I'm shamefully just now going through photos from that time. I do hope that you won't hold it against me to much and enjoy the swtaches instead ;)

Slay Grey!
Hi Lovelies!
Happy Friday to all of you! Today I would like to share with you the manicure that I have been wearing for the past week. It features a lacquer from the Sinful Shine King Kylie collection. I came across a display for the collection a few weeks ago and this gray beauty really caught my eye. Although my initial thought was that it is likely a relabel of their wildly popular 2014 shade Prosecco, I knew I had to take it home and compare. Figuring that in the worst case, I'd have a backup of a shade I love, but instead I was pleasantly surprised that they are indeed different. They do, however, both have the gorgeous golden iridescent shimmer which drew me to them...

Happy Passover!
Hi Everyone! :)
I don't have a new manicure to show you today because I'm still wearing the fun neon marble that I posted about a few days ago, but with Passover starting tonight, I was reminiscing about these yummy matzah nails from a few years back. Not sure how many of you remember this, so I figured it might be fun to do a quick throw back post. The matzah mani was inspired by the talented 10 Blank Canvases. I loved this manicure so much and I'm still proud of that attempt at freehand nail art. If I get a chance, I might try to recreate them again this year...

Neon Marble
Hi Everyone!
I want to say thank you so much for the warm welcome after my last post! It was like a huge hug after being away for so long and your support and encouraging words truly warm my heart! I'm looking forward to playing with polish again and sharing the results with you. Hugs!<3
Today I'm super excited to show you the manicure that I've been wearing for the past few days because its a water marble and its neon! Need I say more? Marbling and I don't usually get along. I end up spending an inordinate amount of time trying to do it the usual way before I finally give up and 'cheat' by creating decals. To save myself the frustration and wasted polish, I thought I'd be smart and head straight to making decals. You may have caught a sneak peek of this if you follow me on Instagram. Well let's just say that didn't turn out quite as planned so I ended up attempting the traditional way of water marbling instead...

Guilty Hello!
Hi Everyone! (Or anyone still out there? :))
Long time no see! Is that even appropriate to say to people I have never actually seen before? In any case, I recently realized that (last 4th of July mani not including), it has been a year since I have last actually blogged. What is even more sad is that I can count the number of manicures I have done during that year on just my two little hands. And in that count, I'm including just polished nails that didn't involve any nail art. Pathetic, right? Friends and family that used to comment on the oddity of seeing my nail unpainted now did a complete 180 and mockingly stare when spotting color.
It is not that I didn't miss creating nail art, it is just that I had a lot going on at the time. I got busy, started working night shift and just sort of shut down when it came to doing my nails. If I couldn't do it all; swatch, review, create nail art, blog and keep up with social media, I wasn't going to do anything at all. Somehow in a weird and bizarre way it made sense back then then, even though it doesn't so much now. I think I was so used to blogging about every mani that I created (whether I ended up actually wearing it or not), that in the back of my mind it seemed logical that if I didn't have time to photograph and blog about a manicure, I would put off creating it. Recently a friend gently (or rather not so gently) pointed out that I should be able to make time for myself at least once a week and create a manicure, even if it is just for myself and not something I blog about. So simple, right? Since I can't really argue with that logic, that is exactly what I hope to do...
