31DC2013 Challenge Recap!

Nothing is sweeter than finally completing a 31 Day Nail Challenge. Granted it took me more than 2 years to finally complete it and some people have completed two of these in that time, but I'm going to celebrate anyway! It is actually fun for me to go back and recall all the early manicures that I created in 2013 before loosing steam on the last third of the challenge. Let's take a look, shall we?

The challenge that I started back in 2013...

Day 31: Honor Nails You Love!

That's all folks! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I can say with certainty that unless I loose my mind, I will not be starting up this challenge again. Although I love doing challenges and some of my favorite nail art stems from them, there are certain things such as songs, movies and books which just do not seem to inspire me. That is exactly where I lost interest last year and I know that if I attempted it again, I would struggle to find inspiration in those days again. I'm much more drawn to abstract themes which are not as restricting and let me mind wander where it will...

Have you attempted this challenge? Where you successful? What inspires you most?

P.S. For a real blast from the past, take a look at my recap from 2012 when I took this challenge the first time! Can you see the improvement? Yikes!

On second thought, maybe I will attempt this challenge again some day. The improvement that I see is quite motivating...

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
