Geometric Color Block

Hi Lovelies! I really debated long and hard whether to show you this manicure or not. I totally loved the idea and how it came together, but then I made the mistake of putting my topcoat over fresh, wet polish and everything shrank away from my cuticles, but worst of all from the tips. Ugh, it was so sad to actually watch it shrink right in front of my eyes as I was trying to take photos. I will definitely have to try this one again at some point...

For the manicure I used a base of Pure Ice Silver Mercedes. When it was dry, I arranged some right-angle Nail Vinyls & strips cut from those same vinyls in a random pattern. Then I added my colors which included three shades from the Glam Polish Mid-Winter's Dream collection: Blizzard (lavender), In a Flurry (turquoise) and Frozen Heart (pink). The colors coordinate so perfectly together...

This is where the mani really started to shrink... oh, the tips are a disaster, don't look too closely!

What do you think of this manicure?

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

    1. Yay! I'm glad you think it still looks good! Thank you :)

  3. I know how frustrating it is when a manicure goes wrong at the last step, but the colours work beautifully together and it still looks very pretty. :)

    1. Aren't they gorgeous together? I will have to try this manicure out again! I should have known to wait a bit for them to set before adding the topcoat. Sigh!

  4. It still looks amazing and I love the color combinations! And your nails are sooo long :D

    1. Oh thank you very much! You are so sweet! They are much shorter now though, this was a bit ago, when I was feeling lazy to file them down. LOL :)

    2. Thank you so much! My limit is when the start to interfere with typing. :D

I love getting comments and reading what you have to say! So don't be shy... comment! :D
