After a couple of days of wear, I just couldn't resist adding a bit of stamping to my glitter gradient. Although rather impractical, since it was my day off from work, I decided to play around with adding some dimension in the form of tiny bullion beads and pearls. I may have gotten a bit carried away, but it was definitely worth it...

Dazzle Dry Glitter Gradient

Good Morning Lovelies!

I always have the best intentions of trying to post more often, but it never fails that life gets in the way and there is no time for nails or posting. But hey, at least I'm still managing for once weekly so that counts for something, right? Today I have a glitter gradient to share with you. The purple and gold color combo is one that I reach for again and again so when I saw these two Dazzle Dry colors hanging out together, I knew I had to pair them up on the nail. Yes, they were indeed hanging out together, waiting for their moment in the spotlight. Both are from the Summer 2015 collection, so they have been waiting for quite a while for me to finally show them off.

I hope you all have had a lovely weekend! Mine was half dreary and rainy and half sunny and gorgeous. There was no in between as though the weather just couldn't make up it's mind. I took the opportunity during the gloomy times to sneak away into my polish cave and cheer myself up by playing around with nail art. I'm back with one more post featuring a lacquer from the Glam Polish Coven collection. It was largely inspired by this manicure created by Debbie of @ladyandthe_stamp on Instagram. She mattified one of the beautiful Coven shades and I instantly knew I wanted to try to do that as well. To be honest, I would not have even thought to mattify these shades since the flakies loose all their holo goodness, but the gorgeous velvet look and feel really made up for it.

Coming Up Roses

Hi Lovelies!

I've got a new manicure to share with you that I'm really excited about. To be honest I didn't expect to love it as much as I do, but I ended up  not wanting to take this one off. It turned out so classy and elegant. The purple and gold combination always seems to do it for me. With the addition of the roses it once again reminds me of some beautiful fine china. Maybe that's a sign that I need to invest in some? On second though, I'll leave that to those who throw fancy dinner parties. I'll just enjoy it on my nails...

Happy Friday to all of you! Today I would like to share with you the manicure that I have been wearing for the past week. It features a lacquer from the Sinful Shine King Kylie collection. I came across a display for the collection a few weeks ago and this gray beauty really caught my eye. Although my initial thought was that it is likely a relabel of their wildly popular 2014 shade Prosecco, I knew I had to take it home and compare. Figuring that in the worst case, I'd have a backup of a shade I love, but instead I was pleasantly surprised that they are indeed different. Glam Polish Hairspray Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Lovelies! I'm such a ditz lately. I have started working nights and got my days all confused. I meant to post my review of this gorgeous Glam Polish Hairspray collection yesterday, with time to spare before the release, but instead I'm sneaking in right under the gun with just a few hours left before the release. Please pardon my blunder and the enjoy swatches.

The Glam Polish Hairspray collection is a limited edition release, inspired by the musical of the same name. Hairspray is one of my favorite musicals, which I actually got to see on Broadway, so I was super excited for this collection. It contains nine gorgeous shades and I've got six of them to show you today!

Hi Lovelies! Early last year I had attempted to franken my own gold leaf top coat which didn't quite work out as planned (see my franken gone wrong post here). What I was left with was a bunch of gold leaf sheets and some 'real' gold leaf flakes that I purchased for a 2nd mini-trial. Glam Polish Broadway Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Lovelies! Today I'm super excited to show you some gorgeous shades from the upcoming Glam Polish Broadway collection. These shades have been inspired by the glitz and glam of Broadway musicals. Loaded with sparkle and plenty of ultra holographic glitter these lacquers really capture what they set out to do. The collection consists of nine shades and I've got six of them to show you today.

Dreamgirls
A grape purple jelly filled with scattered ultra holographic micro glitter and hold glass fleck shimmer. It sparkles and shines like crazy. Truly a must have for any purple lover. The application was great and formula is very nice. Two easy coats for full coverage. Just look at that holo glitter in the bottle! Although it was difficult to fully capture in my lightbox, it does show well on the nail. Swatches are with a top coat...

Hi Everyone! I can no longer deny that Fall is now in full swing so I've been pulling out all of my leafy stamping plates to ogle at and play with. Fall is actually my favorite time of the year for nail art and all the rich colors that it brings. This simple stamped manicure fits the mood perfectly.
