All of these swatches were done using the Dazzle Dry nail system that goes from "wet to wow in 5 minutes". The system includes a nail prep to clean the nail, a base coat and top coat. It is intended to last similar to a gel manicure and not chip for weeks, but still remove easily with acetone like a polish. I cannot attest to how long these will last because I change my manicure so frequently, but I can say that these are really fast drying and live up to their promise. The polishes dry very quickly to a matte finish on their own. The fast dry top coat seals them in for shine and durability. They really are dry and smudge proof quicker than any other polishes that I own.
Now on to the colors...
Dazzle Dry Going Cray Sea
A rosy pink cream. Formula is a bit on the thicker side, but not at all goopy so it still applies very smoothly and behaves well, however, it doesn't self level as well as I would expect. I assume this is because it is so quick drying. Two coats provide full coverage...

Dazzle Dry Hey Sexy!
Loaded with duochrome glass flecks that go from a maroon red to coopery gold. You can see the cooper shine best in the bottle here. On the nail, the cooper shine is seen at more indirect angles and the overall effect is a dark raspberry metallic look. The formula on this is very nice and easy to apply. It provides full, even coverage in two coats. The flecks are stubborn to remove from the cuticles at cleanup so try to apply carefully. :)

Dazzle Dry I'm Beachy
A school bus yellow cream. It has a nice, easy to apply formula. I used three coats for even coverage. This is basically sunshine in a bottle. Although yellow can be a difficult color to wear, it is such a happy shade...

Dazzle Dry Kiss My Tan
Loaded with orange to gold glass flecks. This is similar to Hey Sexy! in formulation. It applies easily and provides full coverage at two coats. The overall effect is a burnt metallic orange with a strong golden glow. On the nails it looks like a foil. I normally think of this as a fall shade, but I've been really loving it in the sunshine for the past few days...

Dazzle Dry Lotion, Please!
A bright sky blue cream. This has a lovely formula, applies easily and provides full, even coverage at 2 coats. It is not at all chalky or streaky, but rather smooth...

Dazzle Dry Tipsy Missy
A chartreuse green cream. If I'm Beachy was sunshine in a bottle, then Tipsy Missy is Shrek in a bottle. This lacquer has a nice formula similar to the other creams in this collection. It applies easily and provides full, even coverage at three coats...

Hey Sexy! is totally my favorite! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful when you get nice weather in Seattle. They don't come that often! Lotion, Please is a nice blue. If the formula is that good, then it's a keeper.
ReplyDeleteThat baby blue is really pretty. I love the nice creme.
