Green Apple Chew
A bright chartreuse green cream. Oh, how I used to love those apple chews! Yummy! This polish has a nice creamy formula that is maybe just a touch on the thick side, but very workable. It only needed two coats for full even coverage. Swatches are without a topcoat...

Banana Drop
A baby chick yellow cream. This is really just the sweetest color and one of my weaknesses. It has a nice formula. Similarly to Green Apple Chew it might be just a touch on the thick side, but workable. This was opaque at two coats, but I did use three to get nice even coverage. Swatches are with no top coat...

Lilac Jelly Bean
A soft gray lilac cream. This appeals both to my love of gray and of purple and is a definite keeper. The touch of lilac really softens and warms this shade. Formula again is very creamy and just a touch thick. It can work as is or with a few drops of thinner. Swatches are two coats for full opacity with no top coat...

Blue Cotton Candy
A blue teal cream with silvery shimmer. This is an absolutely gorgeous color. It is a bit more blue than the swatches show. The camera picked up green more than what is really there in real life. Formula is great on this one. It is opaque at just one coat, but I did use two for the swatches since that is what I prefer. At the moment this is my favorite from the collection...

Orange Parfait
A muted coral orange cream. My skin tone usually doesn't do well with coral or orange, but this is perfection. It is a very soft and easy color to wear. Great smooth formula which needed just two coats for full coverage. No top coat used for these swatches...

ReplyDeleteWOW! I need to get my hands on Blue Cotton Candy, stunner! Beautiful swatches AS PER USUAL ;]
ReplyDeleteI want them all! I love that they aren't a mess of pastels. Beautiful swatches!
ReplyDeleteI want that yellow but it's not up on Barielle's website yet. It looks like the perfect shade of yellow. Nice swatches!
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love that chartreuse! But it's always such an odd color to wear.
ReplyDeleteThat yellow looks really promising too, along with the blue. That blue is calling my name!
@Stephanie, that blue is my favorite for sure! Although I love the pastels too :)
ReplyDelete@Lacey, thank you so much! I'm glad you like the swatches and that blue really is gorgeous! You'd love it :)
@Erica, I agree, it was so refreshing to see a collection that has both pastels and some lovely dusky shades as well :)
@Amy, Their official release date is today, so try them again! They are up now. :)
@Angie, I agree, the chartreuse is such a fun color, but I can't wear it to work. Might try it for a pedi in the summer :D
The yellow is super sweet and the blue is my fave for sure!
I am loving the green, yellow, but the ORANGE PARFAIT is calling to me. Any ideas of a close dupe until I can get my hot little hands on it in the mail?
ReplyDelete@Chloe, I can't think of a dupe right of the top of my head. If I see one, then I will definitely let you know! I'm so glad you like it :)
