The end result is a kind of dirty bluish turquoise color. It had just a hint of glitter, not what I had in mind, but I like it. Unfortunately summer around here comes and goes, so while yesterday was gorgeous, today it is raining and currently 61 degrees... and so any hope of catching the shimmer in the sunlight is shattered... I call this my Summer Blues...
Outside, overcast...
To make this I used Silver Rush glitter, WnW French White Cream, LA Colors Current and "Blue", and a few drops of Borghese Mezzanotte Blue.
It turned out a little on the thick side, so I will have to get some polish thinner and try it again on a sunny day!

WOW, very cute color you came up with! I franken myself alittle, not much success lol But I LOVE the little shimmer to it, very cute!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove this translucent blue!!
ReplyDeletepretty! It kind of looks like For Audrey :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDelete@Forever '92... I'm still just playing around with frankens too. Not as much success as some that I have seen :)
@Kelly, I will keep my eye out on For Audrey.. don't have that one :)
Have you used Silver Rush in a lot? I got it but I heard that some of the SuperNail glitters melt when mixed in frankens.
ReplyDelete@Olive Dani, This is the 1st time I used Silver Rush for a franken. It settled out on the bottom, but did not seem to melt. I wonder if it depends on the contents of the polish it is mixed with. Maybe it only melts from a particular ingredient?
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing franken!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite shade of Turquoise! Actually it's a natural Aquamarine! Brava!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you rosebudz! I'm so glad you like my little franken :)
ReplyDeleteI love franken polishes! I don't have access to many of the lovely colours I see over the net, so I often have to resort to copying them - not complaining, though, it's a lot of fun. Congrats on your pretty "baby"! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Magda! It can be so fun to create your own polish. Even if you don't have the exact color available, a little improvising can be fun :)
