Tulips!

Hello Lovelies!

Today is a mani right out of the unposted archives. I have been digging and sorting and there is quite a bit to share with you, but eventually, as time permits I'll get it all posted. Hopefully I'm not making anyone dizzy with my seemingly constant changing of nail length and shape. I assure you it is all just a time warp illusion ;)

I created this manicure about a year ago while playing around with the a few Glam Polish beauties and B.Loves Plates stamping plates...

For the manicure, I used 4 Glam Polish lacquers from the Cast A Spell Part 3: The White Witch Collection. You can see swatches of the individual shades in the review post from last year.

I started out with a base of Glam Polish Hypnotize and stamped the tulips from B.Loves Plates B.02 Flower Power using Essence Stampy Polish Black. This is such a great polish for stamping and I'm sad that it has disappeared from my local stores. At only 5mL per bottle, however, it unfortunately thickens and dries out too quickly. I haven't been too successful in thinning it out.

To complete the look I used a small paint brush or dotting tool (who can remember these things a year later?) to fill in the tulips using Glam Polish Enchanted (pink), Miraculous (peach) and Mesmerize (lilac).

The photos don't do justice to just how much sparkle these polishes (and manicure) have as they are loaded with holo sparkle and glitter...

In early April, I visited a local annual tulip festival. So many gorgeous tulips all vibrant and in bloom. I wish I would have had the time to recreate the manicure for the occasion, but my visit to the tulip fields was spontaneous. In any case, the tulips reminded me of the manicure and now the manicure is reminding me of the tulips, so I thought I'd share a few photos with you...

I'd love to know what you think of this!

As always, thank you for looking!

Anutka :)
