UberChic Collection 2 Stamping Plates Reivew

Hi Everyone! Today I'll be sharing with you my long overdue review of the UberChic Collection 2 stamping plates. Long overdue is something I'll be saying a lot in the coming posts as I try to wrap my head around and make time for blogging again. Hopefully as they say though, it is better late than never. These plates were kindly sent to me by Brittany, the creator of these gorgeous designs. It didn't take long for me to fall head over heals for these gorgeous large yet very delicate patterns...

Each collection consists of three large stamping plates measuring 9.5 x 14.5cm. For comparison sake, this is the same size as CICI&SISI sets or FUN plates which I've shown in the past. The plates come with a blue protective plastic on the front (as seen in the photo above) which must be removed prior to use. They also have a white plastic backing with the company logo which works perfectly to smooth out what would otherwise be sharp metal edges.

Each plate includes a variety of XL full nail images and some smaller individual designs. The full nail images are a generous size of 17 x 21mm. What makes these designs amazing, however, is that despite their XL size, they are incredibly detailed making them perfect for long or short nails alike. In other words, those with short nails don't need to fear about loosing large portions of the design.

The designs stamp well as you can see in some of my manicures further below. I found that the tiny details and super delicate lines didn't always want to pick up with my super squishy stampers, but worked very well with squishy firm and firm stampers. Applying gentle pressure to the scraper also helped ensure that I didn't scrape away too much of the polish and left enough within the design to transfer (I tend to be heavy handed with scraping down to a fault). The UberChic scraper (see 1st photo) is a thin plastic scraper that works perfectly and doesn't scratch the plates. It is now my favorite scraper ever, pushing aside the old credit card ones I've used for so long.

Now without further adieu, the gorgeous plates themselves...

There are so many beautiful images to love and manicures to dream up, it is difficult to know where to start, but here are the manicures that I've created so far with these plates. You can click on any of the images to see the original post...

I definitely have my eyes set on the 1st collection of UberChic plates and I plan to order them very soon. They feature more floral and scroll patterns which are some of my favorites and I can't wait to get my hands on them.

UberChic plates are available at for $24.99 for a set of 3 plates.

  1. Overheard a few Finnish bloggers have a rather bad exprrience with uber Chic vudtomer service after having received some damaged plates.. :( Pretty designs on the plates, yes, but having read such I am not so much interested in shopping at their site.

    1. ^sorry my typos! I always do that when typing phone, and when the flow is on I don't remember to check my text and correct before sending.

  2. I ordered from the UK and received them in good time. Got stung with customs charges but that wasn't their fault. I had a small problem with their stamper and got in touch via email. They responded quickly and were really helpful and pleasant. The plates arrived in perfect condition. I have ordered set 2 of their plates as I was pleased with them and the service I received.

    1. Would you mind sharing how much UK customs charged? I'm in the UK too, and have been put off from ordering these lovely plates 'cause everyone says the customs charges are huge.

I love getting comments and reading what you have to say! So don't be shy... comment! :D
