Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Holiday Collection

Today I have for you swatches of the limited edition Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Holiday lacquers. Regardless of how you might feel about the Kardashians themselves, I think it is safe to say we can all appreciate gorgeous polishes when we see them and Nicole by OPI has released some beauties. The collection contains six lacquers and includes both glitter and shimmers...

Keeping Up With Santa
Deep red with a red shimmer. The shimmer is beautiful and it seems to glow from within. A classic holiday color just a few shades darker than the traditional bright red. Perfect smooth formula with two coats for full, even coverage. Swatches are with no top coat...

Here We Kome A-Karoling
A vampy plum purple with a fuchsia shimmer. The shimmer is best visible under bright light, otherwise it seems to hide most of the time while indoors. Despite that, it was a hit for me since I absolutely love vampy plum shades such as this. Formula was nice and smooth. Two coats for full coverage and no top coat in the swatches...

Deck the Dolls
A shimmery teal. This also has a nice formula and smooth application. It is slightly less opaque than the other shimmers in the collection, but still provided good coverage by two coats. I can see a hint of the nail line peeking through, but decided to stick with two coats that you see below. Swatches are with no top coat...

A Gold Winter's Night (over Keeping Up With Santa)
A mix of glitter including gold micro and bar glitter and blue/green/holo color shifting bar glitter. I'm not usually a fan of bar glitter, but this might actually be the first one that I like. The bars are smaller and not as densely packed plus they are balanced out with the small gold glitter which makes a huge difference for me. It applied very well with good distribution of glitter in just one coat. Would go well with just about any color. Swatches are with a top coat...

A closer look at the micro glitter that I think balances the bar glitter out so well...

Kardashing Through the Snow (over Here We Kome A-Karoling)
A mix of small silver, red, aqua and green glitter in a clear base. I applied one generous coat over my base color. It applied very smoothly with great coverage and distribution of glitter. This is another one that I can see working with almost any color. It might even be dense enough to layer and wear on it's own, although I think it looks great as a topper. Swatches are with a top coat...

All is Glam, All is Bright
A mix of micro silver and red glitter with a sprinkle of aqua glitter thrown in . The overall look of the polish from a distance is silver with a hint of pink. It is very, very sparkly, the photos cannot convey it quite right. It is a full coverage glitter, very densely packed. Two coats with a top coat in the swatches below.

When I first saw All is Glam, All is Bright, it reminded me of Nicole by OPI Look at Me, Look at Me from the Target exclusives this past March. I wanted to compare them side by side.

Look at Me, Look at Me (LAMLAM) on the index and ring fingers
All is Glam, All is Bright (AIGAIB ) on the middle and pinkie fingers

The glitter size and density appears to be the same. They are both made up of silver, red, and blue glitter, but the proportion of glitter is different. AIGAIB has more pink with just a bit of blue while LAMLAM is more blue with just a sprinkle of pink. I think comparing them side by side makes their slight color tinge more obvious...

All is Glam, All is Bright on the left and Look at Me, Look at Me on the right...

What do you think of this collection? Any must haves for you before they are gone?

Thanks for looking!
