Dotted Transitions

Hi Lovelies!

I've had a bit of time off and yet it's been so hot that trying to do anything even remotely productive, including my nails, has been a challenge. I'm such a wimp when it comes to heat. It makes me way too mellow and lazy. I suppose it is a good thing I don't live somewhere that is hot most of the year or I would never get anything done. That being said, I'm pulling out a manicure from the archives to share with you. This one is created with shades from the Dazzle Dry Beach Ready collection from 2014!! Beats me why I didn't post it back then...

For the manicure I used three Dazzle Dry Shades: I'm Beachy (yellow), Tipsy Missy (chartreuse green), and Lotion, Please! (pale blue). I really love the combo of the blue with the yellow. There is just something about it that somehow catches my eye.

I really love this interlocking technique for dotting. It is quick, really easy to do and a fun look. I've created a couple of other manicures with it in the past (here & here) and even have a tutorial if that is helpful for any of you.

On a totally random side note, I know I stopped using the black background a while ago, but seeing these old photos makes me miss it! Maybe it's time to change up the white again. What do you think? :D

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
