Glam Polish Broadway Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Lovelies! Today I'm super excited to show you some gorgeous shades from the upcoming Glam Polish Broadway collection. These shades have been inspired by the glitz and glam of Broadway musicals. Loaded with sparkle and plenty of ultra holographic glitter these lacquers really capture what they set out to do. The collection consists of nine shades and I've got six of them to show you today.

Dreamgirls
A grape purple jelly filled with scattered ultra holographic micro glitter and hold glass fleck shimmer. It sparkles and shines like crazy. Truly a must have for any purple lover. The application was great and formula is very nice. Two easy coats for full coverage. Just look at that holo glitter in the bottle! Although it was difficult to fully capture in my lightbox, it does show well on the nail. Swatches are with a top coat...

Somewhere That's Green
A green jelly base loaded with the same ultra holographic micro glitter and gold shimmer as Dreamgirls. Formula and application are great and it provides full coverage at two coats. Again the sparkle here is pure awesome. This shade did slightly stain my nails yellow. I would suggest a layer or two of base coat to minimize this. Swatches are with a top coat...

You and Me (But Mostly Me)
A gold jelly base filled with ultra holographic micro glitter. The formula is great and application is very easy. Two coats provide full coverage as seen below. Gorgeous sparkle just like the two shades above. This reminds me a lot of the recent Polished by KPT Triomphe-nt Night, however, I think this is a slightly lighter shade of gold. Dancing Through Life
A nude pink with a subtle holographic and strong gold shimmer. On me this shade appears almost nude and the gold shimmer is very prominent. It is really lovely and delicate. Defying Gravity
A berry shade with a scattered holographic shimmer and rose/coppery glass flecks. It has a really nice formula, no issues with application. Two coats, as seen below, provide full coverage. This one definitely has me wishing for sunshine to bring out that holo shimmer. Swatches are with a top coat...

Don't Rain on my Parade
A deep blue jelly with blue and gold glass fleck shimmer. Great formula and application on this one as well. Two coats for full coverage just as the rest of the shades that I have tried. I love me some blue so this one is a winner in my book. Swatches are with a top coat...

Overall I'm really impressed with this collection. The shades are gorgeous and oh so perfect for Fall. The formula on all of these is wonderful. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

All the swatches above were done with the Glam Polish Magic Shine Top Coat. This top coat will be released Dec 4th, but I couldn't wait to try it out and let you know what I think of it. Although not officially listed as a quick dry top coat, I found that it began to dry within seconds of application. At that point it was still dentable, but had formed a film over the nail which was no longer sticky to a gentle touch. This is similar to other quick dry top coats and therefore I would classify it as such. It is a nice consistency, not too thick and not too thin. Very easy to apply. I suppose only time will tell if it will begin to thicken up as other quick dry top coats (such as Seche Vite) do. It did slightly shrink polish away from the cuticles which I think is the only negative aspect of this top coat. It did not smudge stamping (yay!) as you'll see when I get to posting some of the nail art I created with the shades above.

Glam Polish Nourishing Cuticle  Balm
Along with the shades above, the Nourishing Cuticle Balm will be available in a few days. This natural cuticle balm contains: Apricot Kernel Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E & Honey. It comes in a small tin with a screw-on cap which is perfect to toss in your purse and use on the go. It comes either unscented or in coconut crush flavor. I got to test out the unscented version which has a delicate beeswax and honey scent to it. It is a firm balm and melts slightly to the touch when applying. Because of this firmness, it is difficult to overdo it and end up applying too much. It absorbs quickly and is not very greasy which is always my concern with anything I use on the go. It feels very nice on the fingers and overall I'm very pleased with this balm.
