Plaid Print with SinfulShine Prosecco

Hi Lovelies! Sorry I've been a bit MIA this past week. A new shift at work is leaving me with little time and energy to spare for nail art. I finally got the motivation that I needed when my friend gave me a bottle of SinfulShine Prosecco. I have been trying to find this limited edition polish in vain for the past few weeks so you can imagine how excited I was when she got a hold of one for me. I'm still over the moon excited to finally have it in my little paws. I have no idea how a 2 dollar bottle of polish bring so much happiness, but it does. Of course I couldn't wait to use it and here is what it led to..

For the manicure I used a base of SinfulShine Prosecco as I mentioned above. I stamped the plaid pattern from BornPrettyStore plate QA96 using Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Coco-a-go-go. I chose the most open pattern from the stamping plate because I didn't want to cover up the base color too much...

Plate QA96 is BornPrettyStore item #15611 and is sold for $2.99, but you can often find it on sale for less. The plate comes with a blue protective cover on both the front and back of the plate. The cover needs to be removed on the front of the plate prior to use, but can remain in place on the back. It works well to dull the otherwise sharp metal edges. Overall the quality of this plate is great. The images transfer perfectly and I love the plaid design for Fall. The full size patterns measure 16mm x 19mm which is an average size for these plates and works perfectly for me, still leaving some wiggle room if my nails get longer. If you will be purchasing this or any other products from the BornPrettyStore, you can use the coupon code AG5J61 for 10% off...

SinfulShine Prosecco
A nude taupe base loaded with golden glass fleck shimmer. It has a great formula which applies with no issues. I used 3 thin coats for these swatches, but for everyday wear I would probably stick with just 2 coats. The color is gorgeous, but you've already heard me gush about it. Swatches are with no top coat...

  3. Love this! Got lucky and got the last bottle of Prosecco at the first Walgreens I checked, not one I usually go to. It can ease me into "fall colors" ...

  7. I think I'd want it just for its name (Prosecco is a typical wine of my area: Veneto and Friuli, in Italy).
I think you picked the perfect stamping pattern, the result is stunning!!

  8. Finally a swatch of Prosecco that makes it look pretty! I've been wondering what the fuss was about and now that I see it in good lighting, I can totally see why people want this one! And stamping a plaid pattern in brown on top is genius. Perfect fall mani!
