Shimmer Lucie Studded for Valentine's Day!

Hi there! I'm realizing that Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I'm obviously still in a winter set of mind as evident by my last frosty manicure. Today I would like to switch gears a little bit and start showing you some more Spring and Valentine's Day appropriate manicures, starting with this simple studded nail art...

For this manicure, I used a base of OPI Visions of Love topped with Shimmer Lucie. I added heart studs while the top coat was still wet and then sealed them in with an additional layer of top coat. The pink hearts are from Winstonia and the gold and silver studs are from the BornPrettyStore...

Although, I chose to go with the original color of the studs for this manicure they can easily be painted with nail polish to coordinate with other colors/elements of the manicure! It's really a fun and easy twist...

Shimmer Lucie (layered over OPI Visions of Love)
A clear base filled with glitter of various colors, shapes and sizes. Most prominent is silver glitter with red and iridescent glitter sprinkled in. The formula on this glitter bomb is very nice. It applies easily and there is lots of glitter in each brush stroke. I used one coat over my base polish. This beauty looks great over almost any base color. The iridescent glitter really makes this one special for me. Swatches are with a top coat...

Shimmer Lucie (layered over Nicole by OPI Goodbye Shoes)
This is the same beautiful glitter bomb Lucie, this time layered over a gray base. The red accents really pop so well over this base and give a completely different look than above. Once again this is one brushed on coat of glitter over my base polish. Swatches with a top coat...
