OPI San Francisco Swatches and Review (part 1)

Today I would like to show you the first half of the OPI San Francisco collection. This half contains the blues and grays for the collection plus a tan thrown in for good measure. It has everything from cream to shimmer to foil and even duochrome. A little bit of everything to tempt you...

A-Piers to be Tan
A leather tan cream. This really reminds me of leather boots and purses. The formula is nice and creamy, easy to apply. Two coats for full coverage and the swatches are with no top coat...

Dining Al Frisco
A shimmery metallic sky blue. It is very nicely pigmented and fully opaque in two coats. It self-levels slightly, but as with most shimmers such as this, it leaves behind visible brush strokes, so apply the second coat carefully. This is one of my favorites from this half of the collection. The color is so pretty! This was part of my polka dots manicure a few days ago. Swatches are with no top coat...

Haven't the Foggiest
A pewter gray foil metallic. This applies perfectly. The formula is so pigmented it is practically a one coater, although I did my standard two coats. Another favorite of mine. It was part of my studded stripes manicure a few days ago. The swatches are with no top coat...

Peace & Love & OPI
A duochrome that shifts from purple to gray with a hint of green. It is sheer at first, but does build up to full opacity by three coats. Formula is easy to work with. Minimal brush strokes left visible. The photos really don't do this one justice. Although difficult to capture the green shift on my nails, it was definitely there in real life. Is it possible to not love a duochrome? I definitely can't help but be enamored with. Swatches are with no top coat...

Keeping Suzi at Bay
A deep navy blue cream. Nice smooth formula with easy application. Beautiful blue for fall. This was the other half of my Polka Dot manicure a few days ago. No top coat in these swatches...

Incognito in Sausalito
A blackened blue. Majority of the time this appears black and only in some light you can see the blue undertones. It is very pigmented. The formula is nice and smooth, applies easily. It is a bit staining on removal ,although I didn't need to use my toothpaste trick, just scrub a bit more with acetone. I used this as a base for my recent foil manicure. Swatches are with no top coat...
