For this manicure I created a gradient using three Zoya shades from the Cashmeres collection, Hunter, Pepper and Sailor. I stamped the pattern using Nailz Craze plate NC 03 and Wet 'n Wild French White Creme...
Doesn't this look like the perfect Holiday sweater?..
A look at what the gradient looked like before the stamping. I just love these Zoya Fall shades together...
What do you think of this manicure? Not ready for sweater weather yet?
P.S. This post is pre-scheduled while I'm on vacation. I may not be able to respond to comments until I return, but I greatly appreciate them and will respond as soon as I return!
Thanks for looking!

WAW that gradient is majestic :)
ReplyDeleteyay for fall colors, I went for a fall color theme too today! I like summer colors just fine, but I'm a dark polish girl at my core, you can usually spot me with blackish polish all year round!
ReplyDeleteI love all your nail designs! They are divine!
ReplyDeleteAny tips on stamping plates and stamper?
I will really appreciate ideas, thank you!

Oh I LOVE it! <3
ReplyDeleteThis really looks like a cozy pair of long johns!
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful and so perfect now the weather's turned. I'll be breaking out that Fairisle stamp now I've seen this! xx
ReplyDeleteI love this gradient! I always tend to think about bright colored nail art, so I love it when darker/moodier colors are used! =) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love them!!! I might have to try something like this when the weather finally cools off!
ReplyDeleteI really love that! I want a sweater like it haha :D
ReplyDeleteabsolutely love both the gradient and with the stamping!
ReplyDeleteI use to receive your posts by mail and did'nt know how to comment. Finally, I jumped into my mind and I'm here to tell you how I like your work. You're so original and creative ! Forgive my poor english, I don't use it so often here in France.
ReplyDeleteI particulary adore this nearly winter manicure and the nail craze plates ! And also the wonderful shades of Zoya. We don't know this brand in France but it seems to be a good one, isn't it ?
Hug from Paris !
so beautiful <3 just like a sweater!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone! I'm loving the way this turned out and I'm so glad that you do too! It is feeling like fall here in Seattle and this makes me nice and cozy just looking at it :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to go for brighter gradients too, but I love this darker, moodier one. I'm a dark polish girl at heart too :)
@Dimana Dyakova, ooh, there are so many stamping plates it is hard to pick just some! I would say take a look at designs that you like and start there! Stamper is a bit trickier, I use an XL stamper that I purchased a while ago. I have not found one that works as well since then so I hesitate to recommend a specific one. Do you have some plates & stamper that you are starting out with already?
I use a born pretty stamper, which I'm not happy of. Their stamping polishes also suck. I like the stamping plate I have though and I use old plastic card to remove excess instead of the metal remover that came with the kit, as it tends to remove more than needed :)
ReplyDelete@Dimana, I use an old credit card for my scraper as well since I don't like to scratch the plates! I use an XL stamper that I got a long time ago, but I hesitate to recommend them because there are so many bad ones out there now. I worry that a beginner might think it is your skills and not a bad stamper and get discouraged. The Salon Express one that comes in a kit works well! For polishes, I tend to use my regular polishes and just play around with what works. Often the metallic foil ones work well as well as the thicker cream ones... I don't know if you have access to Essence, but their stampy black and white polishes work well!
ReplyDeleteThanks a hole lot for the advise! I will look for a better stamper. I have Essence here, but I'll need to buy some. I will try with Bondi polishes as they look thick when applied :)
ReplyDelete@Dimana, wishing you lots of luck! Most important is not to get discouraged and keep trying. Practice makes perfect :)
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I am so loving how awesome you've become since you started blogging!!!
ReplyDelete@Fingers, thank you so much! I'm always trying to improve so your comment means a lot to me :)
