Seize the Summer Strawberries

Hi Everyone! Have I mentioned already that I'm not ready to part with Summer yet? Well I'm not and although I'm looking forward to the Fall colors and nail art, I'm going to stretch the Summer shades out as long as I can. This is a manicure that I created while reviewing the Nicole by OPI Seize the Summer beauties. I wanted to see if I can combine the four of them into a fun and fruity summer manicure. Initially I thought of watermelons, but I since I've done that already, these strawberries came to be...

To create this manicure I started out by creating a gradient using Nicole by OPI Leaping for Joy and The Coral of the Story. It is a difficult to see it in photos, but it was more evident in reality. I then topped it off with the fun glitter named Shaved Nice because strawberries need to be sparkly, right? Then using a small nail art brush I added the crown (calyx) and seeds using Lay it on the Lime. Oh and since I'm still in a tutorial making mood, stay tuned for a tutorial coming next!

P.S. If you have ever wondered how many Nicole by OPI bottles I can cram in one hand for photos and not loose it, the answer is 4! Any more would have been disaster for sure ;)

Until next time!

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
