Dazzle Dry Global Beat Fall 2014 Collection Swatches and Review

It is Monday again, which sadly means time to head back to work, but it also means that I spent a wonderful weekend relaxing and playing with polish. I've got lots to show you in the coming days, but starting this week out with the new Dazzle Dry Global Beat collection for Fall. This collection features four lacquers ready to dance their way into your heart...

Unlike regular nail polish, Dazzle Dry polishes must be used with the Dazzle Dry system which includes a nail prep solution, base coat and top coat. You can see my earlier post for more details on this system. Now, whenever I think of a 'system', I start to think of something complicated and time consuming, but with Dazzle Dry that's not the case. What it actually means is that instead of your usual base and top coat, you use the special Dazzle Dry ones. They apply exactly the same as any base and top coat so it doesn't feel like a 'system'. When any Dazzle Dry polish is used with the Dazzle Dry base and top coat, they are dry in 5 minutes, last like a gel, but don't require any special lights and can be removed with regular nail polish remover. Cheeky Cha Cha
A metallic olive green with a gold shimmer. This has a great smooth formula and provides full coverage at two coats. As usual for Dazzle Dry lacquers, this dries to a satin finish and needs a top coat for shine and to seal in the polish. I do love a good olive green and this one is a beauty...

Sultry Samba
A dark magenta berry cream. This has a bit of jelly look to it on first coat. It is on the thinner side and I had to paint carefully to avoid flooding my cuticles. It is opaque by two coats, but I did add a thin third one to even out the coverage. The color is gorgeous! Swatches are with a top coat...

Tangled Up Tango
A densely packed copper glitter in a clear base. On it's own it provides full coverage at two coats as seen below. It is the color of shiny new pennies and photos don't do justice to how truly sparkly it is. Application is good, there is lots of glitter in each brush stroke. The second coat can feel a little thick due to the amount of glitter, but I still easily able apply a nice even coat. I used 2 layers of top coat to smooth out the glitter...
