Jonesy Lou Lacquer New Beat and Spittin Shade

Hi Lovelies! I had hoped to show these beauties to you Monday morning and here we are Friday afternoon by the time I finally got a chance to sort photos and show you two beauties by Jonesy Lou Lacquer. This is a new to me indie brand and I was excited to try a few shades from the lineup. The two lacquers I'm showing today were just released on Monday (hence why I wanted to time my post for that day, but life and work just got in the way). So without further delay, here are New Beat and Spittin Shade...

New Beat
A hot pink jelly with gold and orange microglitter that glows under black light! On it's own, it is rather sheer and for that reason I chose to layer it over a white base. I also figured the white base would make the neon pop. I think it can just as easily be layered over a similar pink cream. The formula was very nice, not too thick. I didn't have any issues with it dragging or balding. Very easy application. This is two coats of New Beat over one coat of white plus a top coat. Hot!...

As I mentioned on it's own it is rather sheer. This is three coats of New Beat by itself (plus a top coat). My nail beds are small and my nails are long, so I don't like to see my nail/smile line, but if this isn't something that bothers you, it is a really lovely color on it's own. It would also work perfectly to color in stamping or for other nail art where sheers are so hot right now...

Under black light it has a beautiful pink glow. Reminds me of a strawberry shake!

Spittin Shade
A white crelly with gray and neon pink glitter that glows under black light and in the dark! Three coats provided good coverage with no visible nail line. The formula is good, but easy to overwork and make it goopy. Letting the chips (ie. glitter) lay where they wanted instead of trying to control them worked perfectly. I just love the pink and gray glitter combo. This shade Spittin Shade is a definite winner in my book. Swatches are with a top coat...

Under the black light, the pink glitter really glows. The glow in the dark particles light up as well...

Equally impressive in the dark, it has a beautiful green glow. Swatches are after charging under direct light for about 30 seconds...
