Sweet Daisy...

Hi Everyone! Today is the first post out of the archives and I hope you will enjoy it. I created this while reviewing the Nicole by OPI Carrie Underwood collection. The manicure was inspired by the name of the peachy shade used to create this look...

For the manicure, I started out with a base of Nicole by OPI SweetDaisy, a soft coral peachy cream. For the ring finger, my accent nail, I added a coat of Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away from the same collection...

Using a dotting tool and white polish I dotted the daisy petals. The daisy centers were a dot of Carrie'd Away on all the nails except for the accent nail where I used Sweet Daisy. Finally, using a toothpick, I added random small dots between the flowers and sealed everything with a top coat.

I rather enjoyed this light floral look in the spring, but I think it would be just as lovely in the summer time...

I'd love to know what you think of this manicure!

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

  5. Gorgeous! You always amaze me. This mani is delicate, precise and very refreshing. And, of course, I have a question: when you create a design like this where some motifs "hang" off the edge, how do you handle wrapping your nail? Do you wrap the entire tip with your base color? Or do you wrap the parts where, in this case, flowers are cut off at the tip with the flower color, making your nail wrapped tip a collage of the colors that are at the edge? Thank you for sharing!
