Polished by KPT Nostalgia and Ophelia's Love...

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to show you two more Polished by KPT thermal beauties that Katherine, the creator and mastermind behind this lacquer, sent to me for review. These are darker and moodier than the previous Polished by KPT lovelies that I have tried and I just adore them. Both of these transition from a pale gray to black and the shimmer what makes each of them so unique...

Nostalgia
A dusty pale gray when warm transitioning to a dark gray/black when cold. This beauty is loaded with a gorgeous duochrome shimmer which shifts from vibrant violet to green. Majority of the time, the violet shines through and the green is seen at the more indirect angles. It has a beautiful dusty or foggy quality to it that really captured my attention. It has a nice formula which is easy to work with. Two coats provide good coverage as shown below. Swatches are with a top coat...

Ophelia's Love
This beauty also shifts from a very sheer pale gray when warm to a darker gray/black when cold. It is filled with duochrome glass fleck shimmer which shifts color from violet to green in more indirect light. It is so gorgeous and very sparkly in the sunshine! The formula on this is a bit thick because of the flakes, but still very workable. It did take a bit longer to dry for that same reason. A fast dry topcoat is a must in my opinion. I used three coats plus a top coat for the swatches below...

The bottle is mostly in the cold state on the left and warm state on the right as it warmed up in my hand...

  1. These are such beautiful colors! Thermals have to be some of my favorite polishes because they have so many different looks, two completely different colors and a range of gradients between ;) Your swatches are just perfect! You have gorgeous nails :)
