Carrie'd Away with Hex Glitter...

Hi Everyone! I really have no explanation for this manicure other than I got carried away and I love it. I was going through my stamping plates one day looking for inspiration and came across this hexagonal pattern on one of the Bundle Monster plates and well one thing led to another and here is the super sparkly result...

For this manicure I used a base of Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away from the Carrie Underwood collection. I stamped the honeycomb pattern from Bundle Monster plate BM-422 using KleanColor black...

Into each cell, I placed a piece of hex glitter. I arranged the glitter colors in a rainbow pattern row by row. This turned out so much better than I expected and was really easy to do. I love the look of glitter placement manicures, such as the one I created for New Year a year ago, but they are so incredibly time consuming that I never get around to doing them. Oh and don't even get me started on glitter arrangement on my right hand. This gave me a similar look and sparkle, but was also very quick. I'll definitely be trying it out for a party at some point...

Wish these photos truly captured the sparkle, but I suppose I should have done a video for that... :)

The hex glitter that I used was sent to me for review from the BornPrettyStore. You can find it here. This glitter comes in 12 different colors as you can see blow. Except for one iridescent glitter, the rest are a solid color (not holographic), shiny metallic hex...

Each color comes in a little jar which is packed full. There is plenty here for A LOT of manicures! The glitter is about 1.5mm in diameter...

PS. You can use the coupon code AG5J61 for 10% at the BornPrettyStore...

Let me know what you think of this manicure! I'd love to know :)

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

    1. Thank you so much! It is quicker than it looks since the glitter is pretty large and there is not much of it. Actually this was quicker than a lot of other manis I've done, but looks complicated :)
