Zoya Zenith Winter/Holiday 2013 Collection

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to show you the lovely Zoya Zenith collection for this Holiday. The collection is comprised of cool shades and really puts me in a Winter holiday mood. It features everything from metallics to glitter to scattered holographic flecks...

Seraphina
A dove gray composed of silver glass flecks in a sheer base. It is very pretty and sparkly. Makes me think of silvery frost. The formula is easy to work with and apply. Three coats provide full coverage. Swatches are with a top coat...

Cassedy
A metallic charcoal gray with silver flecks. A nice smooth flowing formula that is easy to apply. Metallic pewter perfection. Two coats provides full coverage. These swatches are with no top coat...

Belinda
An indigo with a blue and purple shimmer. It is very bright and vibrant. Two coats provides full coverage. The formula is very smooth and easy to apply. These swatches are without a top coat..

Mosheen (over Belinda)
A slightly tinted sheer base with green to blue iridescent bar glitter along with small holographic micro glitter. I'm not usually a big fan of bar glitter, but this is bar glitter done right. The bars are very small and mixed with the micro glitter they provide nice coverage without looking 'hairy'. Also the bars seem to be softer than the standard metallic glitter so even if a bit hangs of the edge of the nail they don't become weapons. I used just one coat plus a top coat over a base of Zoya Belinda....

Payton
A grape jelly with holographic flecks. The photos don't do this polish any justice. All the white looking flecks are actually holographic and flash different colors when the light hits them. It is absolutely gorgeous. Two coats provide full coverage. Nice formula and application. Swatches are with no top coat...

You can see the flashes of holo a bit better in the bottle here...

Dream
A navy blue jelly packed with holographic flecks. This has the same holographic flecks as Payton. The photos just don't do it justice as the flecks flash beautiful colors when they catch the light. It is a bit more sheer than Payton and needs three coats to reach full opacity. The sheerness allows the layers underneath to still show through and makes it look even more packed with holo goodness. I wore this by itself for a few days and loved it. For me this polish really is a dream. Swatches are with no top coat...

Again, you can see some of the flashes of holo in the bottle...

  5. I love this collection! I have Payton, Cassedy, and Mosheen - decided to pass on Dream after I realized it was identical to LA Girl 3D Effects in Brilliant Blue. Cassedy is gorgeous on its own, but it's even more amazing topped with OPI Save Me.

  6. Ohhhhh, I love Dream & Payton! I had the bar glitter "weapon" problem the other day. Sinful Colors has some bar glitter toppers for the holidays. I got one with multicolored metallic glitters that is soooo pretty, but no amount of top coat would cover the ends that were sticking out.

  7. @Squeaky Q, it is perfection! Gorgeous pewter shade. I'm glad you like it :)

@zebra-nails, Большое спасибо! Dream мой любимый тоже! :)

@Tamit24, thank you! I can't get over the holo in those. Wish the photos did them justice. And I hope Zoya puts out more of these holo shades :)

@ritterbraten, I love it too when a little bit of Russia slips into the Zoya collections in the names! Makes me all happy inside :)

@icewyche, This collection is a definite hit. So many wonderful colors. I don't have the LA Girl one to compare, but if it's the same as Dream than it has to be beautiful. Interesting that you would top Cassedy with Save Me. I really love Cassedy despite the fact that I usually don't like bar glitter. I don't remember being quite as thrilled with Save Me, but I might have to try the combo since you speak so highly of it :)

@mem22, They are even more gorgeous in reality!! Yeah with bar glitter if you don't make sure to get them away from the tip when applying there is no amount of top coat that will smooth it out... I scratch myself enough without having metal shards sticking off the ends. LOL :)
