OPI Couture de Minnie Nail Art...

A few weeks ago OPI asked members of their blogger network to create nail art inspired by the new Couture de Minnie collection to represent Minnie's high fashion look and possibly get featured in Minnie's Closet. If you have not seen Minnie's Closet, make sure to check it out. It features daily Minnie manis, runway moments, and other moust-see looks. Needless to say, I was very excited at the chance try my hand at creating some Minnie nail art. I decided to go with something simple, using just the polishes of this collection to create a look that I think anyone can achieve...

For this look I was inspired by Minnie's dresses featured in the promo and display images. In particular I was inspired by the gradient of the dresses. It just so happens that the three cream shades of this collection, Chic From Ears to Tail, A Definite Moust-Have and Innie Minnie Mightie Bow (from base to tip) lend themselves well to creating a smooth gradient. I also added a bit of Minnie Style glitter to the tips of the nails. For the accent nail I used Chic From Ears to Tail plus Minnie Style...

I have been checking the OPI Facebook page and Minnie's Closet daily to see what fun looks get featured. I hope you will join me in the fun and check out Minnie's Closet...

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
