Polish Days: Geometry

I'm pretty excited today as it is my first time participating in Polish Days. I've seen it popping up on blogs over the past few months, but only recently figured out how to join in on the fun! The challenge this time is geometry which really made me think of school days, cutting out shapes and basic colors. This is my attempt to recreate that feeling. I think it looks like geometric confetti... or better yet pinata guts...

I chose to use the decal technique for this manicure by creating colorful strips of polish that I then cut into tiny squares and triangles and punched circles out of. For the colors I used Wet 'n Wild Red Red, Color Club What a Shock! (green), Barielle Sunshine* (yellow) and Surf's Up* (blue). I arranged them all over a base of Sally Hansen Celeb City which is a lovely silver foil...

I really love how this turned out, especially when looking at it from a distance. It looks like crazy patchwork...

I had lots of fun with this challenge and I hope you enjoy this manicure! If you want to join in on the fun of the challenges, just visit Polly Polish to sign up for information on Polish Days.

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)
