OPI DS Indulgence
A berry red with a strong gold fleck shimmer. With the first coat the base appears violet, but as it builds up to full opacity the berry color dominates. Wonderful application with two coats providing full coverage. These swatches are with a top coat...
Just look at those pretty gold flecks...

OPI DS Luxurious
A bright orange with a strong gold fleck shimmer. This to me was brighter on the nail than it appeared in the bottle. It is absolutely perfect for fall. Again, two coats provides full coverage with no visible nail line. Swatches are with a top coat...
A closeup of the gorgeous diamond dust infused beauty...

ReplyDeleteSO damn pretty! Its too bad they are not holo, but still they look amazing (and remind me of christmas collections) Great swatches :)
ReplyDeleteI am all over Indulgence - weak spot for golden laced reds here! I also ordered the Luxurious and curious to see if it's really similar (maybe more loaded) to the now just this yr discontinued OPI shade Dressed To Empress....I am thinking that might have been why they discontinued it - the 2 would be too much alike - also Empress suffered from the reformulation over from black label to green. I would get watery bottles off on once it went to green. These are so pretty - and soooooo glad OPI heard the uproar over NO - NO heavy glitters in the DS line - does not belong in that line - we want shine but smooth finish shine!
ReplyDelete@Gabby, thank you so much for the award! So sweet! :)
ReplyDelete@Karen, the are so beautiful! The gold shimmer is just stunning :)
@Beachgal, from swatches online, Dressed to Empress looks like a red with pink shimmer flecks. Luxurious is a bright orange with gold shimmer. They do not look alike to me. Definitely wonderful addtions to the DS line! :)
