I want to wish those of you who celebrate this holiday, a happy and wonderful new year! Although I don't partake in celebrating the Chinese New Year, I'm always fascinated by the beautiful traditions surrounding it and the meaning behind each year's animal sign. I wanted to create a bright and festive manicure to welcome the year of the Horse!

Press Release: OPI Brazil Collection For Spring/Summer 2014
Carnaval of Color!
OPI Launches Brazil Collection For Spring/Summer 2014
Brazil by OPI brings the colors of tropical rainforests and warm sandy beaches to nails and toes for Spring/Summer 2014. This new collection features a palette ranging from bright hues of red, pink, coral, orange and yellow to earthy tones of taupe, sienna, mocha and jungle green. In addition to 12 nail lacquers, the Brazil launch includes a set of four limited edition Beach Sandies Liquid Sand™ mini neon nail lacquers in bold purple, pink, turquoise and yellow shades with a textured, matte finish.
“With sun-soaked shores, tropical fruits, and lush flora/fauna, Brazil is such an inspiring locale,” exclaims Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “I wanted women around the world to embrace the energy and playfulness for which Brazilian women are known. Through the Brazil collection, with shades drenched in color and charged with shine, women can express themselves, showing off their sexy, mysterious, fun and exciting natures.
“On spring runways, models were seen wearing lots of black and white, with bold accents of orange and yellow and muted elements of taupe and clay,” continues Weiss-Fischmann. “Brazil by OPI provides vivid hues to add a pop of color to a neutral-toned wardrobe, as well as earthy tones that easily transition from day to night.”

Winter Hummingbird...
Hi Everyone! Today I have another manicure to share with you which has been patiently waiting for it's time in the spotlight since last month. I was tempted to wait even longer and post this in the Spring when a floral manicure would be more appropriate, but considering that I wore this for almost a week in December, it seems that I'm not too concerned with seasonal appropriateness. Hope you don't mind seeing seeing this flowery mani here today. Maybe you're already dreaming of Spring and warmer weather?...

Black Roses Featuring OPI Make Him Mine and MoYou Stamping
Hi Everyone! Today I've got a manicure to show you that I actually wore at the beginning of Dec, but have not gotten a chance to post about you until now. It has been sitting in a folder with lots and lot of other photos that are waiting for their time in the spotlight. Maybe if we can all just vote to extend the days a little bit? An extra hour or two a day would really help! Is that too much to ask for? OK, getting side tracked here, let's get back to the manicure...

Drops of Chocolate with Messy Mansion...
Hi Everyone! Today I would like to show you a manicure that I created using one of the Nicole by OPI shades from the collaboration with Dove Chocolate. I paired it with a stamping pattern that reminds me of drops or splashes. While I would normally think to do this in bluish tones resembling water, for some reason drops of chocolate sounded rather delicious...

Dove Chocolate and Nicole by OPI - Discover Your Dark Side...
I hope you have all entered the Nicole by OPI and Dove Chocolate Sweepstakes already, but if not than go do it now! What are you waiting for? Along with yummy Dove Chocolate, you can win two lacquers inspired by it. Today I would like to show you swatches of the beauties that are up for grabs in the sweepstakes. These were sent to me for review along with delicious Dove Chocolate. I'm not even going to tell you how many I already ate, but resisting them has been futile. Surrounded by chocolate, I swear for a moment I imagined these were chocolate scented...
